A UK consultant is working in partnership with CAMRADATA in order to conduct their research into UK ESG Equity strategies and create a watch list for monitoring on an ongoing basis. All managers must have their ESG questions completed and up to date at the firm level in CAMRADATA Live; all funds being proposed must be listed in CAMRADATA Live and returns must be up to date i.e. to 31st March 2020.
Please note, the consultant is not looking for ‘standard’ funds where the only ESG element is where a firm has integrated the assessment of ESG risks into their decision-making process. Rather, they are looking for funds that have a distinct ESG bias. This might be in the form of excluding certain stocks on ESG grounds, or favouring / overweighting stocks that rate highly in ESG terms, or that invest in line with a clear ESG theme (e.g. Low Carbon, Environmental, Gender Equality).

Currency | Ideally the consultant is looking for a GBP share classes. But if no GBP share class exists, then USD or EUR will suffice |

1) Benchmark / Index
2) A list of any exclusions that are made from the fund on ESG grounds
3) Latest sector and industry weights relative to the reference benchmark
4) Targeted / expected outerperformance
5) Any ESG-specific objectives
6) If the fund was “repurposed” and did not previously have an ESG approach, at what date was the ESG element added to that fund.
